New super-fast, 500MHz bandwidth industrial ScopeMeter

The Comtest Group, Fluke’s authorised Test and Measurement distributor for South and southern Africa, has added two new models to their 190 Series II – range of handheld Scopemeters, the Fluke-190-502 and the Fluke-190-502S . With a bandwidth of 500MHz they are both super fast – achieving a 5GS/s sample-rate, providing greater accuracy and clarity of shape and amplitude of waveforms.
This new model was specifically designed to ensure that engineers and technicians are able to initially see all aspects of a problem in order to speedily and safely troubleshoot and solve. The vast increase in bandwidth
provided is required by those users who work in high-tech electronics such as medical, communications, navigation and military devices that other require a
higher bandwidth.
The Fluke 500MHz is actually two tools in one, a high performance scope and digital multimeter (DMM) with 500MHz bandwidth, sample rate up to 5.0GS/s, two-channel isolated inputs for differential measurements. It has advanced analysis and measurement capabilities, ideally suited to complex troubleshooting such as vertical amplitude, horizontal time, power and motor drive and energy / current / voltage over time. Portable and ruggedly constructed, it’s safe for field use, as well as harsh, industrial environments with IP 51 drip and dust proof rating and IEC 61010 safety rating, CAT III 1000 V Safety Rating.
