Comtest is pleased to introduce JDSU’s c-Series Test Line for lab and manufacturing environment. JDSU’s c-Series Compact Photonic tools are a new line of test solutions for the development and manufacturing of fiber optic connectors and passive components used in today’s network elements. These compact Photonic tools are general-purpose, high-performance, entry-level test solutions for new engineers entering the industry and small-and medium-sized connector and patch cord manufacturers.
JDSU’s c-Series testers include a USB interface making them an ideal addition to automated fiber optic manufacturing process tools, with light sources and power meters providing key feedback required for robotic and automated assembly equipment. The c-Series testers, operating independently or in tandem, offer functionality that addresses a range of key applications from general-purpose lab-based optical measurements to insertion loss and return loss measurements for FTTx passive components and fiber optic connectors.
JDSU’s c-Series is a single-function bench top solution that offers a cost-effective, entry-level alternative. The c-Series provide an alternative for engineers who require simple, single-function testers and includes the cOPM-A1 Optical Power Meter, cFPL-A1 Fabry-Perot Light Source and cORL-A1 Optical Return Loss Meter.
