Comtest is pleased to introduce Fluke’s new PPC4 pressure controller/ calibrator, a high performance instrument that is designed to provide versatility and ease of use in calibration labs and manufacturing environments.
The PPC4 pressure controller/calibrator covers the absolute range of 1 kPa (0.15 psi) to 10 MPa (1500 psi) and gauge equivalent including very low different pressures. PPC4’s emphasis is on high-end performance, minimizing measurement uncertainty and maximising the ranges covered by a single controller. The PPC4 includes exclusive, individually characterised, quartz reference pressure transducer (Q-RPT) modules for increased precision and reduced measurement uncertainty. The AutoRange feature supports infinite ranging, automatically optimising aspects of operation for the exact range of the device being calibrated. The controller/ calibrator is rugged for mobile applications and standard shipment without the need for special packaging.
Fluke’s pressure controller/calibrator enables users to select the users interface that best suits their application and budget. Users can chose between the basic front panel, if operation is usually under computer control or the new, advance user interface with colour graphic display and point and click navigation to streamline operator-control pressure calibration and testing tasks. Both interfaces include a front panel USB connection and free cockpit software for full PC-based “plug and play” functionality.
The PPC4 features a pressure “ready/not ready” indicator with user adjustable criteria, real time calculation and display of the uncertainty in the set pressure for the first time in a pressure controller, and very high dynamic control precision and control turndown. Its open architecture allows nearly limitless system configurations to adapt to your specific application’s requirements, and flash memory for simple and free embedded software upgrades.
