JDSU’s WaveReady receives Brocade Data Center ready status |

Comtest is pleased to announce that JDSU’s WaveReady 3000 series has met Brocade Data Center Ready Programs test requirements. Brocade Communications Systems Inc verified that the WaveReady 3000 series is compatible with Brocade- Based Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructures after the WaveReady 3000 successfully completed the data center ready testing with Brocade fabric switches in multi-vendor SAN environments. The Brocade program is designed to foster interoperability in multi vendor Brocade- based data center environments.
The JDSU’s WaveReady 3000 series offers optical network operators that are easy-to- deploy, high value products for networks, including SAN’s, that enable quick delivery of reliable services. As well as a flexible WDM transport solutions that can extend the reach of SAN’s. The WaveReady multirare transponders support FC100 (1.0625Gbps), FC200 (2.125Gbps), FC400 (4.25Gbps) and 10GFC(10.518Gbps) Fibre Channel interfaces and combined with amplifiers, extend the reach of SAN services to over 175Km.
WaveReady offers a simple and reliable transport solution for data center connectivity, remote back-up-and disaster and recovery network deployments.
