Comtest - Measure with Confidence
Winners of the Fluke/Comtest Oldest Multimeter Competition Print E-mail

 Congratulations to Louis Coetzer who is the winner of the Fluke/Comtest Oldest Multimeter Competition.  The winning Fluke 8030A was produced in 1976 and production on this line ceased in 1978.  There were seven runners-up in the competition Mr Peter Honeywill (Fluke 8020A), Mr JL Beukes (Fluke 8024A), Mr DD Jacobs (Fluke 8024A), Mr T F May (Fluke 8022A), Mr LS Langston (Fluke 8022A) Mr Neil Jeffrey (Fluke 8020A) and Mr Arthur Boon (Fluke 8020A).  Production on these three lines ceased on 1st December 1981. Mr Ernst Pretorius (Fluke 8860A) was our third placed finalist.  Production on this unit ceased in 1986.   Over 50 entries were received.
