|
From the 26th – 28th of August 2008 Comtest will be running a 3- day motor diagnostic workshop that will be facilitated by All- Test Pro’s technical support and training manager Bill Kruger.
Over the three days participants will be introduced to various theories based on electrical reliability (maintenance philosophies), electric motor diagnostics, motor and transformer, motor faults (electrical maintenance) multiple technologies, various mechanical considerations and motor circuit analysis (off line testing).
The workshop will also incorporate hands on training where participants will be shown how to do off- line testing, interpret data, use EMCAT PRO 2005 software, do DC motor and transformer testing as well as electrical signature analysis. By the end of day two of the workshop participants will be able to understand FFT and dynamic faults (electrical and mechanical).
The last day of the workshop will focus on how to use ATPOL to do hands-on testing, interpret Electrical signature (ESA), develop a motor diagnostic program and estimate the time of failure.
