Measurements on the foreword gun's electrical gun drive on the SA navy's 76mm cannon. The gun drive sits on a platform on the weapon below the deck of the vessel. To access the gun drive a person must climb up a maintenance chute that holds the ammunition feeder. The Gun drive is halfway up with mechanical arms that feeds the ammunition into the weapon just above the person's head. The resulting space is very restricted and caution is required when the system is active because the mechanic alarms can hit you or the 400V bus voltage can kick shock you.
