Comtest Attends Las Vegas Seminar

Comtest sent its business development manager Ravi Lachman to Las Vegas to attend a seminar on the All-Test Pro range of field motor testing instruments. First, Lachman attended the IMC 2007 conference in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is an annual event at which some 700 engineers from around the world congregate to exchange papers and ideas on predictive maintenance and motor circuit analysis. All-Test Pro had a stand at the conference and Comtest was invited to join them on the stand.

Lachman then went on to Las Vegas, where he attended in-depth training on motor analysis and vibration testing, conducted by All-Test Pro's Bill Kruger. The seminar covered motor circuit analysis and electrical signature analysis on the range of All-Test Pro products, particularly focusing on the All-Test Pro 31 troubleshooting tool, the All-Test IV Pro 2000 for troubleshooting and condition-based monitoring and All Pro On-Line II for electrical signature analysis.

Lachman says, "The test equipment has a diverse range of end-users in industries such as municipal, mining, food processing, high-tech manufacturing and wood products. It is aimed at people who need to field test electrical motors, transformers and generators - the entire range is hand-held, portable and battery-operated."
