Fluke’s new 772/773 milliamp clamp meters

Fluke 772Comtest is pleased to introduce Fluke’s newest addition to its 77x line of Process Clamp Meters, the 772 and 773 milliamp clamp meters with advanced features. These clamp meters enables technicians to measure 4 to 20 mA signals without breaking the loop, find defective 4 to 20 mA signals and troubleshoot with mA source/simulate. Fluke’s 773 enables technicians to find bad mA loops, troubleshoot with mA source/simulate, DCV Source and measure advanced diagnostic features.

Fluke’s 772 feature:

  • mA measure in circuit that verifies errors found in measured mA signals with in-line measurements
  • Loop Power that enables technicians to power a transmitter and measure mA signal. Substitution testing of installed 24V loop power supply.
  • mA source/simulate that allows technicians to test suspected bad 4 to 20 mA automation and control I/O. source signals to troubleshoot I/Ps and valves.

Fluke’s 773 feature:

  • DCV measure that enables technicians to test suspect 24V loop power supplies, verify 1 to 5 V and 0 to 10 V automation signals.
  • DCV source enables technicians to source 1 to 5 V and 0 to 10V signals to test suspected I/O, chart recorders, other voltage input devices.
  • mA scaled output that enables technicians to log non-contact measured mA signals with a separate logging tool such as a 289 DMM or DPC.
  • mA in/out that makes it easy to source 4 to 20mA signals into valves and mA signal conditions and simultaneously measure 4 to 20 mA positioning output signals.
